Design and development of a luxury service based in Ibiza

El Colo was a luxury service based in Ibiza, offering apartment and villa rental, charter boats, luxury cars and concierge services. I worked with them from inception and a holding page to a completel e-commerce website that provides the facilities for Ibiza property owners to register and list their apartments and villas, take enquiries and contact a customer directly. Payments are made through a bespoke e-commerce solution that includes property listing upgrades, an SMS messaging service, property availability and flexible rental prices.

I worked with El Colo for over two years, to help them grow from a single page website to a customer-facing luxury services provider. I developed all designs and code during this period using the Codeignitor PHP framework as the building blocks for each of the website iterations. As the El Colo service developed I helped to bridge the gap between customer experience and technical systems. Each website update required technical expertise and knowledge of emerging platforms and a people-centered approach to new features, always leading with the customer experience.
